The Galston Glenorie Amateur Fishing Club (GGAFC) is a vibrant and family oriented club based in Galston, NSW.
We strongly encourage participation and are successful in interclub competition both with local clubs and regionally.
Becoming a member of GGAFC gives you an advantage of the fishing that is on offer in and around the Hawkesbury all the way to the beautiful Sydney Harbour and Beaches.
Our fun and experienced group of members have a common passion for fishing and enjoy introducing kids to the experience. They are happy to share their knowledge with you & your family. You might just be able to find out a few secret fishing spots if you are lucky.
Monthly fishing adult & kids competitions and organised nights out and weekends away give you plenty of opportunity to have some fun, spend time with the family, catch fish, talk strategies and enjoy each others company.
GGAFC values new members to the club. Our association with The Galston Club gives us a meeting point as a base for our weigh-ins and club meetings. We have been established for many long years and hope to keep it vibrant and strong for our kids in the future .
Come along on the first Wednesday night of the month for our Club meeting and raffles to find out more about us. The Galston Club has a fantastic bistro and meals area that is very child-friendly. Join us for a meal and drink what’s always a great social atmosphere… You never know what great new friendships are waiting for you, and you might even win a meat tray or two!
